THE CAR

The purpose was creating a racer, based mostly on the DB4 GT, which would be severe competitors for the Ferrari 250 GT that had been, at that moment, in an unassailable place on the planet Sportcar Championship.

Of the nineteen Zagatos built when production finished in 1963, many were being sold to privately entered racing teams, though 4 were produced as road authorized sports automobiles.
